trackline in Any MCP client
trackline runs as an MCP server the agent can ask before it acts. It advises: it cannot stop an agent that does not ask.

Set it up
npm install -g trackline
trackline mcp --root /path/to/your/projectOr paste the prompt from the install section into your agent. The full steps are in the guide.
Where it sees less
- The agent chooses whether to ask; an agent that does not ask is not watched.
- Approvals given for a single request do not apply; only project-wide ones do.
- Some clients start the server outside the project; pass --root in the client's config.
Named plainly, because a tool that looks complete stops getting better. trackline doctor --host mcp prints this list on your own machine.
